There are usually four google pagerank updates every year. That is, one in every quarter. !st of January, 1st of April, 1st of July, 1st of of October. Sometimes, Google skips an update and sometimes Google goes above the mentioned date while releasing the new pageranks through out the data centers.

I checked my pagerank on 1st April, I didn’t see any change. It was still PR3, I was thinking that there might have been a change but my pageranks just did not change. I did not check on the 2nd of April.

Yesterday, 3rd of April, I was on this random website which gathers all the data about your website like links, PR, Alexa rank, etc. and then tells you the value of your website. It was not until that, when I saw a 4 in front of the pagerank column. :D

Google Pagerank 4Thinking it might be some flaw in that website, I rushed to several places to check the pagerank and turns out that I was right. My pagerank really did move from a pagerank 3 to a Pagerank 4. There really had been a pagerank update!

I wasn’t really expecting this, but I think that I should have. Over the past couple of months my search traffic from Google has taken an upward trend and my website is now getting better and more stable in the Google search engine result pages.

I used to have a lot of people on my blog striving to get on the top commentators list that I have in the sidebar. Where are they? I’m sure anyone would be interested in getting a PR4 link from the sidebar widget now , just through a little bit of commenting. :)

I’m not sure if I would be able to make it, but now, obviously my next target is a PR5. I’ll be needing tons of help with that. By the way, if you don’t know what Pagerank is, or want to know how to get a good pagerank then check out my article: How to get a good pagerank.

Nice to know that Abdul..My blog homepage is still at PR4 from last 2-3 updates. Interestingly, one of my link which is cloaked link has got PR5. The link redirects to my twitter profile – smartbloggerz.com/twitter

I used an internal checker software and it shows that most of my blog post have gained a PR3 and PR1(in large numbers).

Oh my bad, I though that your blog turned PR4 on this update. That’s odd that a cloaked link has a lot of pagerank. Yeah, my internal pagerank also shows around 10-15 PR3′s several more PR2′s and loads of PR1′s. Thanks for commenting. :)

No secret tips or anything like that. Just get high quality inbound links without doing anything shady and the PR will rise along with your rankings. It’s the same as you are doing right now.

Dear Abdulrehman: I just finished reading your website and you have done a good job. I liked the part on how to make money using Adsense the right way. I am totally impressed that you are only 17 years old! I got into the business back in January of this year (2010), I spent the last months learning how to make money online and how to build a website. I am just putting my website online now and have been making notes of the blogs that I have read in order to put them on my site. My site is dedicated to reviewing other peoples blogs and websites and reporting on how the blog actually did make their money. I liked the part on the Adsense and yes I think it would work, I am writing to you for two reasons. One would you allow me to do a income review and to use your site as one ofr the sites that I do a review on? In the review I just am focusing on how they actually did make their money. Any specifics of names of products and methods are good. Then I would link to your blog and that is the jest of it. I am as I stated, only interested on the income part of it and how you did make your money each month and the year. Thats what I think will be a good blog on reviews for me. Please let me know and take care. Yours truly , Victoria Durham

Congratulation Abdulrehman! Finally you got it! My blog remains PR3 for more than a year, I believe that it has something to do with my previous naughty action, I served TLA and Google penalized my pagerank to PR0. I took it down and requested for consideration and I got back my PR3 until today, perhaps there was some bad history behind my blog, so I can only get PR3.

    Again, congratulation!

    Regards,
    Lee

Oh, that is sad man! But how did Google find about the links that you sold? Aren’t they unidentifiable by a bot?

    [Reply To This Comment]

    Lee Ka Hoong Reply:

I served TLA and I think they should have bot which can track it. I’m not sure, but I believe that the reason my blog can’t go up to PR4 is because of the naughty action. That’s fine, just let it, as long as traffic keep improving and gain better search engine ranking, that would be fine for me. :)
