The wait is finally over. I’m announcing the start of my contest today and it turned out to be a little bigger than expected. I have successfully accumulated prizes from sponsors worth over $1600! No jokes here and I’m pretty sure you’ll want to participate once you discover what all the prizes are.

Unlike the average contest I am not putting any 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. I am categorizing the prizes and letting people choose what they want to win. All packages are equally luring and I’m sure you’ll have a tough time deciding between them.

Prizes will be put under this heading as they are entered into the contest as it has started. When choosing the category that you want to enter the contest for, this category cannot be chosen. All participants are automatically be entered for these prizes.

How To Join?

  1. Follow me on twitter @3arn and tweet: “Just got 2 entries by following @3arn and tweeting about his $1600+ contest. Join and win cool prizes! Details at: http://bit.ly/3arnc”. (2 entries)
  2. Write about this contest on your blog and also tell about the package you want to get entries for. 1 link should be pointing to this contest page and the other to the blog. (10 entries) Get 5 extra points by copy and pasting the list of sponsors of the package you have chosen.
  3. Review my blog. (10 entries) If I think your review is detailed and at least 250 words, I’ll give you +2 entries.
  4. Review any other article on this blog. (2 entries each) (Maximum 3)
  5. Review the blog of any sponsor in the list. (5 entries)
  6. Subscribe to this blog by mail and confirm. (1 point)
  7. Fave this blog on Technorati by clicking here. (1 entry)
  8. Thumb up this post on stumbleupon. (1 entry)

Rules

  1. Your twitter account should not be a dummy account, to prove that you should have at least 200 followers and an active account.
  2. Your blog must be indexed by google and must have at least 10 posts.
  3. My blog’s name is not 3arn! 3arn is just the domain, the blog’s name is what you see on the title bar of your browser when you visit this blog. Keep that in mind while writing the review. If you still have any confusion then contact me.
  4. All review must be at least 100 words.
  5. Each participant can enter for only 1 package.

Once you’re done doing all these things head over to the contact page and send me an email telling all that you’ve done. For example:

Hey Abdulrehman, I’m mailing you to let you know about my entries. I blogged about this contest at ABC (10) and blogged about your blog at DEF (10). I also blogged about sponsor Z at GHI (5) and subscribed to your blog with example@example.com (1). I tweeted the message with my twitter account @Jkl (2) and also thumbed up this post with username MNO (1). This makes 28 entries. I would like to enter for the ‘Mix Package’. Please confirm my message and my entries.

After sending this message you must post a comment at this post telling that you have done so. After that I will confirm and mail you to let you know about your entries. Please make sure that you enter the right name and email address in the contact form.

The contest has started and will run for 1 month until the midnight of 20th July and the winners will be announced shortly after that. The winners will be picked through random.org’s list randomizer.     Entrecard internally values 166 Entrecard Credits to be $1 and this is the rate you’ll get entrecard credits for if you buy the credits from entrecard or you if you advertise on their website with entrecard credits. I am not putting the buying price of the entrecard credits but their selling price which you’ll actually get them for. $1 per 1K ECs is temporary and is just to lower the credits in their inflated EC economy. Yeah, your review will be accepted. :) However, you still need to blog about this contest! Once you’re done just send me an email!

    I think the prizes are enough already and some of the prizes are attractive as well especially “SEO Page Analysis from Nicolas Prudhon”. Nothing to be more important than our on-page SEO, Nicolas has very great view on SEO.

    I don’t get offended :P . Yeah, there are hardly something like 6 participants in the contest right now. I’m going ahead to get the word out now because I was gone for like 10 days and couldn’t get the chance to tell people. As for the ECs, I’m sorry but the minimum is 3K ECs because if I allow your’s then it will be unfair on the part of other sponsors. I hope you understand.
