Try the new StumbleUponWritten by Abdulrehman on November 26th, 2008
After recent adds to new features for Stumbleupon, once again they’re back with major updates of more features added. I think that the update came a little late because I saw some of these features a few days ago before the update was made. Anyways, the feature that I am talking about and the best feature that they’ve added is an in-page toolbar of Stumbleupon for those who are not members yet, which makes it really convenient for those who just want to check it out. People hardly want to install toolbars but in the case of StumbleUpon, if you haven’t started using the toolbar then you haven’t really stumbled, that is only the trailer. The image below shows the how it looks in the browser:
Finally, the category pages are not going to be full of people who ‘like’ that category, in fact now it will display Top stumbles and recent stumbles from that category. Several Stumbleupon users(including me) are annoyed with the fact that stumbleupon does not let you make your own password, they just generate one and send that to you through e-mail. But now they’ve added this feature to the ‘Preferences’ Tab on the profile page.
A whole bunch of customization features have also been added for the profile, where there is no more of only boring stumbles in the same format on every stumbler’s blog. Now you can add images, headers, etc. to make it a lot more better. Most of these features were necessary and were requested by many stumblers which took form (officially) yesterday! Stumbleupon’s update page can be found here. So go ahead and check the ‘New Stumbleupon’ while you still have a choice to remain using the old one, by the way hit me up a friend request, here’s my profile page!
