This is a quick update but as you all know that I have joined Entrecard since July, but after paying a little attention towards it, I finally had a bit of success and learned a few things. But first, the most important thing is :
I’ll recommend reading that ten times because that is the only way you can ‘ever’ hope of getting drops from entrecard else even after purchasing several advertisements through Entrecard you’ll just end up with a handful of drops! My current drop back rate is 81.6%, which I am calling drop-back rate because I hardly get drops from advertisements placed. If you think that getting such a drop back rate is very easy then you’re purely mistaken, I started with dropping 300 Entrecards a day with only 50-60 drop backs. Currently my average daily drops are about 190 – 230, depending on the frequency of my droppers coming online. However, you have to analyse your drop backs and use them evenly. This does seem easy but it is just a little difficult. The main problem that I’m still facing with Entrecard is the high bounce rate of the visitors that it sends to me, bounce rate is the percentage of people who left your website after they arrived on the landing page without navigating any further and bounce rate from entrecard is out the roof. Once I’m done with that, I’ll let you all know how to get the most out of entrecard by spending least time on it (I’m saying that because I sat dropping cards for more than 3 hours daily). I spend less than 90 minutes now and also read some articles and repond to them, keeping the spirit of entrecard alive rather than acting like a entrecard-dropping robot [bzzt]! Congrats on your higher % of return drops. I agree with on the bounce rate. After checking with google analytics on one of my site with Entrecard which have 100% traffic from Entrecard, the bounce rate shows at 93%++. This is at alarming rate. Hope you could find some solution for this.

Wow! You’ve been through lots of work to get traffic. Why not spend half of the time to comment on other people’s blog. You might get more traffic by getting bloggers to come to your blog and building relationship with them.

Ya buddy i totally agree with you me too sorting out this problem. I was not doing drops before but once i started dropping more than 200 i got 100 drop back for sure but bounce rate more than 70% and that blunder. It must lie near to 55%. Now i have started collecting blogs to selective drops and for this i thing we need blogs to drop that like our blog to read daily for sure it will take time but can be used effectively.

Key to blog and purpose of blogging?
I think each person have their own purpose of blogging. Same are about making money, some are about sharing, some are about releasing stress, some are giving convenience to their friends or clients. The book “corporate blogging” by Debbie Weil shows that blog can’t be used for more than 12 purposes.
Anyway, I want to thank Abdul for dropping a comment on my blog. I realized that your comment fall into the Akismet Spam and I accidentally delete it. I’m not sure is it because the name you used or the email. Hope this info will help
Great to know your blog!

High bounce rate is the highest draw back of Entrecard. Of course you will always have a pretty high bounce rate because of people like you (and me) who try to do the most with EntreCard while spendig the least amount of time on it, which rarely means stopping to check out every website you drop on.
The one obvious tip is to drop mostly on people in your niche or related ones. Tey have the highest chance to be interested in your site

Yeah, you’re right that blog should be read and commented. But you must take account that many blogger are busy to improve their traffic ranking and make some drop and go. It’s fully depend on you how you blogging. You can stick around and hang out with some blogging network. But, in EC there’s a chance for a blogger to raise ranking without difficulties just stop by and drop. It’s a dilemma.
