So previously I had been talking on how to get traffic but since that is a pretty big topic, I decided to talk more about it. Since there are multiple ways of getting traffic and unfortunately all of them cannot be discussed here, but I’ll cover the important ones. I will now discuss the second branch of getting traffic which is by purchasing it.
Purchasing Traffic
Now if you’re interested in getting really targeted traffic which can be very valuable to you, then purchasing it is the best option. There are hundreds of PPC programs out there like Adsense, Bidvertiser and Adbrite, where you can specifically advertise on one of their publishers’ websites or you can choose some keywords that would range your advertisement on the websites of different publishers with the matching keywords. This is the most targeted traffic you can think of getting, except for the search engine traffic. However, this can also be quite costly depending on the Pay-per-click rate you determine to pay and moreover the keyword you pick should be famous enough to find websites the have the same keyword on it, you should also make the advertisement catchy to get the attention of people to click the ad. If you want to try this out make sure you do a search as some PPC programs are offering a start bonus, so you don’t want to miss that. If you’re still not sure what this actually is, they are those lame ads by Google on more than half of the websites you visit!
Well if you’re really crazy about getting traffic, whether that be targeted or not and have failed to get traffic from other ways which do not involve money. Then you can literally buy visitors to your website, and I mean it. The ones that I know of probably sell 1,000 visits for $20 or less, which is pretty cheap compared to PPC programs. if you’re interested in getting this cheap traffic then consult the websites that I have on my Money-makers list in the sidebar. All of them have exceptionally low rates giving visitors like you and me, staying at least for 30 seconds on the page, rest depends on the visitor. However, if you want to try this one make sure your main page is pretty catchy, enough catchy to lure the reader to read the whole page.
I beleive the least effective way of getting traffic is by buying traffic at traffic exchanges because you hardly get the number of visits you purchase. However, if you do want to try them out there is no harm in doing that. But I recommend the first and second way of purchasing traffic rather than this one. My question is what kind of traffic do you get. Is it just to increase your ranking, or will actually convert into customers.
