I’m still very unsure about Twitter and it’s usefulness in making money. Its benefits continue to elude me and I haven’t yet figured out how to make it work for what I’m trying to do.

  • The Right Way To Check Keyword Competition
This sounds like a good approach to checking keyword competition. I have one question, though. Could you tell us how many results constitutes a low competition keyword, a moderately competetive keyword, and a high competition keyword? Thanks.
  • What Is Indirect Organic Traffic?
This sounds like a great idea. I look forward to hearing more about it.
  • Make Easy Money Online
What I gathered from reading your post is that the easy money follows after a lot of hard work. And since most of us aren’t willing to work hard at the beginning, we won’t see the easy money down the line.
  • SEO Isn’t Everything!
This has a lot of potential, although that’s not to say we should ignore SEO. I am eagerly awaiting your next post on the subject.
  • Google Pagerank Update!
Great job in getting from PR2 to PR3. You produce a very informative blog and it’s nice to see your hard work paying off.

You should have a moderate following plus a few people to retweet it. For me, that was the key for getting those hits!

Yea I know that I don’t have a retweet plugin. I just tweeted this when I wrote the post “RT @3arn [post name] [post url]“. after that a few of my friends liked the post and the retweeted the same thing that I tweeted. If I had the retweet button on my blog I might’ve gotten more tweets!

Twitter is a good way of getting traffic, but it was not designed for web promotion to make it work for you you have to put a lot of efforts such as getting followers that are really interested in your topic and make friends who can help you to retwit.
Some time ago twitter put a limit for number of people you can follow which made things even harder but when you create a network it really works.

Twitter can be frustrating at times. I can ask a question and never get any response from the 2k plus followers that I have. or I can follow folks and then they over load my Direct Message box with auto reply thank you notes. But Twitter is a good place to simply type what you are doing. As far as networking I have not seen its benfit as of yet.

True on that one, direct messages are a real pain in the neck. That’s why I stopped checking them, once i received 10 thanks you messages from a person seperated by commas which indicates that he chose to rotate 10 comments around to keep it fresh,
