While PR alone doesn’t necessarily brings in the cash, you shouldn’t underestimate the power of link building and what it can do to your blog in the long run. Great article.

“PR is useless” seems to be the catch phrase of the year. However at the very least, unfortunate or not, it is still important to potential advertisers and even potential blog buyers.
Great article
Link building is always useful.its a powerful than the page rank.gd content will indeed will brings u lot of traffic.
A website with unique content with page rank 0 can get traffic.but a gd page rank is always helpful to be in top of listings.
But u had written a nice topic
Would you rather have a high showing on Google search engine or have a high PR? One of my blog always shows up in the first pages of Google but has a PR or 0 and I’m not even trying to optimize SEO.
I would rather have high PR since that’s what advertisers are looking for.
Hi,
It’s really a useful article. As yr saying, we should tried comment on high PR pages.
Will our PR go down once link to PR0 pages ??

However useless people are saying about google pagerank, it still is a factor that advertisers or programs like ReviewMe etc. look at when valuating your blog.
So are you saying that we should try to have lots and lots of incoming links, but don’t link to lots of people? So say.. have 50 incoming and like 3 out-going?
Also, I don’t care if page rank is useless or not. It would make me feel good as a novice webmaster to have a page rank of 2 or 3, because that means the world’s #1 search engine says “Hey, this website is sorta cool.” To me it’s a sort of “feel good” factor, and I can brag about it to my friends.
Very helpful article and the comments associated with it, thank you.

Thank you for your article. Very interesting. Was thinking all of our work was for naught as our posting and backlinking has not moved our page rank up at all. But, it sounds like it will take three months for it to update…Was about ready to give up on this.
Thanks again for your article. Appreciate it.
[...] I’m not sure if I would be able to make it, but now, obviously my next target is a PR5. I’ll be needing tons of help with that. By the way, if you don’t know what Pagerank is, or want to know how to get a good pagerank then check out my article: How to get a good pagerank. [...]
Pagerank is like your rank in the army (after you retire) in other words it is google’s respect to your site.
