There’s always a line between copying and stealing.
I would say if you’re in a saturated niche like MMO and don’t have anything uniquely yours, then share the experiences of the ideas of others (giving credit where deserved) that you have tried and whether or not it was successful and why.

Thanks for this post, I still have Blogger blogs and just went and backed them up and will make it a habit do this going forward after every post.
I’ll also start working on migrating to my own host (but even an independent host can have its own problems so beware
)
Steven-Sanders, thanks for the link.

Yeah you right….copy isn’t a bad thing
….!!!
actually i will give more respect to people that create their own content.
Sometimes I do copy oterh people’s idea but I like the idea that I have created the content for myself.
i think it will be great if we can create our unique content from. at least we give a credit if we copy other people content
Great post. Why try to re-invent the wheel when you can copy the success formula of other people. As long as you copy their techniques and not there content…you are not making any legal or ethical missteps.
Google also like the unique and original contents too

Just like you I also started my Internet Marketing career in 2007. I also did exactly what you did. In those days I also used to spend most of my time reading pro-bloggers blogs, getting ideas about their marketing techniques and understanding how they are monetizing their blogs. Getting ideas is always good, but as you told stealing content is bad. This post itself is a perfect example of how to write a unique content and I would definitely say you really have very good writing skill.
