I don’t see ads, neither would you. On the homepage, only searchers would see ads. Yes, this can be done and you can add the block of code in your index.php if you’re using adsense on your index page.

  • I developed that myself. It’s a long piece of code. God knows when I became so geeky but yeah I coded and designed that. ;)
  • Once you’ve put this code in a php file, you just need to go to google.com and search for you keyword. Then click at your website from the google search results. After that, it should show the ads. Note: It shows the ads to only those people who come from google. So you need to go to your website from google. There is no reason why this wouldn’t work.
  • We’re trying to make money. I totally respect your opinion of using adblocker for this purpose because you’re sick of advertisements.
  • Yes, you can. You just have to place that code before and after the ad code. NO matter what it is.
  • Everyone has bad days with adsense followed by some success. Keep trying and follow these tips. Don’t under-estimate the power of these tips. It’s more like free money lying on your computer screen.

It’s not a ‘game-over’ situation if you put adsense from day one. In fact, it has proven to be more useful for me for some of my blogs. The reason I recommend that is because majority of the people on the internet are allergic to advertisements. Most will consider a new website as ’spammy’ if it is too much loaded with ads from day one. So once your blog starts to grab some traffic, start slapping some adsense onto the template. However, putting it from day one works fine too. =)

  4. Oh my god that’s a long Adsense list post, anyway it’s really helpful. I’ve roughly read on the list and “#45 Show google ads to searchers only” catches my eyes. Between, are you using this method to show Google ads to organic traffic only right now in this blog? So, do yourself see the ads?
I would like to do something like this too as I don’t want my regular readers see the ads because I know they’re not interested with the ads at all but the content.

Abdulrehman, I’ve actually tried to use this code on my Adsense, then I ask a net friend of mine try to visit my blog from the search engine and see is there any ads appear in my blog, the result is no ads, which mean traffic from search engine doesn’t see the ads.

I’ve taken the code. Any ideas?
